February 13, 2007 -

2007 is upon us and we've been very busy with shows, writing new heavy-ass material, and working on putting out our first full-length CD. Wolf Productions just finished mastering our 10 song CD and we are now busy with artwork & making duplication arrangements. Keep an eye out for a CD release party show possibly in the next few months!

We've also been working with a great photographer who really has a natural talent for photographing live bands in crappy lit punk rock dive bars! Stephanie Blancato of Mammoth Magazine has been taking some great live shots for us. If you ever need a photographer for a photo shoot, we highly recommend hiring Stephanie for the job. Halloween, Hardcore, Hellbilly, Hearses... that's right kids, time for trick-or-treating... join us for 2 back to back Halloween shows in October. Feel free to arrive in costume. We hear that the "Pathetic EMO Kid" costume is very popular this year.

What's up internet junkies! We have a few things to report. First off, the Woodstock of Hardcore show in NY did turn out to be a hoax of sorts so that one is off the books. However, we are very excited about 2 shows coming up in September. We will be playing at Rams Head Live - at the Power Plant Live in Baltimore, MD on September 15th! The current line-up is with the Dead End Boys, Hard Response from DE, and Joe Naylor's new band The Reticents. We are very excited about this show and also for the September 30th show in Wilmington Delaware at the Collosseum for the Tri-State Brew Fest! In other news, we've been writing a few new songs and hope to have at least 1 or 2 ready for our September shows. We hope to see you in September! Check out our Shows page for details & ticket info.

Wow, we are half-way through the year of 2006 already. Whew...time flies when you are Unyoung! Not much new to report except for a slew of awesome shows coming up this summer. July 1st at the Sidebar Tavern in Baltimore is going to be a kick ass summer hardcore show! We are also looking forward to 2 back to back July weekend shows at Bankshots in Delaware with our boys from Hard Response! July 22nd with Gut Instinct (reunion!) - and July 29th with Honour Among Thieves. We are also supposed to be playing in NY in August at a weekend show called the Woodstock of Hardcore. This will be an entire weekend of good music. The show is apparently sponsored by Sony and some other big companies. Should be a good time with lots of bands, beer, and food. Hope to see some of you this summer at some of these kick ass shows!

We had a blast playing 2 shows this weekend - the first up in Delaware w/ our buddies from Hard Response and Hell To Pay. Then the second with Hard Response & Bring It On at the Red Rooster in Baltimore. The turn-outs were great for both shows. Thanks to everyone who came out and partied with us this weekend. FYI - Due to unfortunate events at the Mojo Room, the April 15th show with Hard Response, Fierce Allegiance, & Bring It On has been MOVED to a different location. The show will now take place at the RED ROOSTER appx 1-2 miles from the Mojo Room. Please check the Shows section for details.

The Unyoung Heroes have finally finished recording and mixing our first full-length release at Oblivion Studios! We are so pleased with the way everything turned out and are excited to release it among the masses! Though it may take a while to get it pressed & duplicated. We are planning to finish up recording & mix down of our first full-length release at Oblivion Studios this weekend. New samples should be posted on our MySpace page soon!!!

We are in the process of finishing up our recording sessions at the studio. We're getting much closer to the end and are very excited about how good it sounds so far. Keep an eye out for updates and/or a CD release show! Also, we'd like to send out an Unyoung Happy Birfday to our own Big Mike Goshawk who turns 3(?) today. Happy Bday ya bag O' dicks!

The Unyoung Heroes finally hit the studio! We had a very successful day yesterday laying the foundation work for our first release at Oblivion studios. Hopefully we will be able to release something within the next couple months! Keep an eye out for it...

Two days till the Ottobar show! We are siked to be a part of this event in Baltimore. All show proceeds are going towards cancer research. We support this event 100% and are happy to help others any way we can. The Unyoung Heroes raise our glasses to Shana who is organizing this event! Hope to see you there!
